 HOW WE STARTED TO NOW

After many years of going to crufts to watch the chows being judged we finally

got our first chow in 1972/3

we had Baytor Sparkle who won at least  6  bob's at open shows and a few

                           green stars  in 1974

Then came  along  Adam Of Moylena who won at least 5 bob's during 1975  at

                           open shows

Also in 1975 we bought Simon  (ch. ukwong adventurer) at the tender age of eight

                           weeks for 75 pounds

from Joan and Eric Egerton  . While doing very well with him winning 20 bob's at

open shows plus a couple of groups and a RBIS and a res cc.

He also won 5 greenstars  and 3 groups

Then Eric came to N.I. to judge  and took him back to the mainland in

                           partnership  with Eric

and he just  went from strength to strength, until his life was tragically cut short.

That nearly put an ended us with chows before it had really got started.

Tempted to go back to showing the Whippets.

But after a while one sort of just gets on with it ,

and luckily we have had some decent chows

(see history)  which has kept us going  and things just progressed

7 Irish Champions  and 3 GB Champions

                            and I have judged chows

at championship level in  N.Ireland , Ireland , Scotland ,Wales ,England

(including crufts 07 ) Holland , Spain ,Denmark, Norway  .& Ukraine

Ashleigh was only  1 when we lost Simon and she has been involved with

with the chows  (whippets  dachs  and sib.huskies and basenji,s for the

last 31 years , and now she is a Irish Champ . judge of chows

                            plus other breeds.Now  a  group  judge  (G 5)

She is also a former JUN. Handler of the year
